Welcome to Hill Country Community Theatre's Summer Youth Theatre Program!

Each summer, we invite up to 35 children ages 8-17 to join us for an unforgettable theatrical experience. Under the guidance of directors Jordan Jones and Christine Ashbaugh and our dedicated counselors, young performers embark on a journey to create something magical - a complete feature musical production.

This year, we're proud to present "Monty Python’s Spamalot Young@part," a timeless classic that will showcase the talents and creativity of our young stars. From auditions to rehearsals to the final performance, every moment is filled with excitement, growth, and fun!

At HCCT, we believe in the transformative power of theatre for young people. Through our Summer Youth Theatre Program, participants learn the ins and outs of stagecraft and develop essential life skills. From teamwork and empathy to self-esteem and responsibility, our program fosters personal growth and a more profound sense of community.

We understand that financial barriers should never stand in the way of a child's passion for theatre. That's why we offer a limited number of scholarships to students who may otherwise be unable to afford tuition. We're committed to ensuring that every young performer has the opportunity to shine on our stage.

Join us this summer for an enriching and unforgettable theatrical experience. Whether your child is a seasoned performer or brand new to the stage, there's a place for them in our HCCT family. Let's create something amazing together!

King Arthur and his search for the Holy Grail. After a rather silly bit of miscommunication leads us briefly to Finland, our King, and his ever-faithful squire, Patsy begins to search for knights to accompany him on his Quest. He finds his first in the unlikely guise of Dennis, a hideous local mud farmer. After convincing the locals that he is the King by conjuring The Lady of the Lake to prove it, Dennis is transformed into Sir Galahad. The rest of his knights are found far and wide, and The Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls send our stalwart band on their way. They meet up with an unforgettable slew of outrageously kooky characters, and musical hilarity ensues as Arthur and the Knights make their journey.

MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT Young@Part Edition is presented through a special arrangement, and TRW supplies and all authorized performance materials are Theatrical Rights Worldwide.
